God is faithful – so we should not be weary in well doing for in due season we shall reap if we faint not. It was year 1996 – Active Relocation site was established in Progreso Active during those times, most of the people lived here were poor and sick because of the place that was quite far and the source of living is scarce.

Year after, Pastor Elohim Saylo a full time Pastor of Shalom Baptist Church located at Eroreco, Mandalagan, Bacolod City, visited the said place together with his member. They planned of a church planting as their daughter church, week after Pastor Elohim Saylo conducted a survey who among the people here were qualified for the feeding and medical program to be sponsored by International Care Ministries Philippines Incorporated a non government organization extending community services to the poor through local churches headed by a pastor.

Through Feeding and Medical Mission extended by ICMPI church members, leaders and sympathizers were born for ACCC. They became faithful listeners of the word of God through bible studies and Sunday worship service. We held our first worship service in an old small incomplete house (PAYAG) and we held our bible studies at every recipient house. Until 16 faithful members were baptized.

Church was praying for a full time pastor and a church building truly God answers prayer year 2000. Pastor Rolando Gagatam called by God to takeover the pioneering work in this place together with his family and God gave us also a church lot and building. Pastor Gagatam faithfully worked in this church, financially he only received Php.62.50 as our first offering but God seen the heart of his servant and he blessed the ministry more until we reached our first church anniversary. New members were added every year and ministry became bigger while praying for a bigger church. The Lord answered our prayer through West End Family Church headed by Elder Clifford Payne through their prayer and monetary support the lot and the church building was established, it was year 2007 we registered to the S.E.C. (Security and Exchange Commission) under the name of Active Christian Community Church in Negros Occidental. The school was also born under SEC registration Active Truth Academy operated from Pre-Elementary and Elementary School form year 2003.

The works of the ministry grown bigger and last May 2006 Purok Mabinuligon, Sum-ag, Bacolod City was reached as daughter church. It was also reached through ICMPI door to door feeding. God blessed His ministry in this place there were sympathizers who became active member in this place last March 8, 2007. The 1st worship service held in this area, through house based church and there were 38 attended and their first offering is Php207.00. Presently the attendance in worship service doubled and already has 36 baptized members by God’s grace. At the moment, our worship service and other activities are held through house based church and now they are praying for a church lot and building.

God again answer our prayers through the help of a generous woman of God, the ACCC progreso church building was extended to provide more space for the believers to worship our living God!

Through the generous support of believers in Christ from 3 different churches in England, May 31, 2009 a new lot and church building of ACCC Sum-ag was dedicated for the glory of GOD! The attendance was triple that some church members was standing outside the church building while worshipping God in spirit and in truth and now they are earnestly praying for another church building extension .
